Frequently Asked Questions

  • How often should I attend therapy sessions?

This varies based on a number of factors. We typically recommend for clients to meet with therapist on a weekly basis in the beginning, and then we can adjust from there as needed/indicated. Clients will sometimes “wean down” from therapy, and shift to every other week or once a month after progress is made. We can discuss this at any time and we will give our clinical recommendations, but keep in mind that the decision is largely up to you on how often you will come to therapy.

  • What services do you offer?

We offer individual, family, and couples therapy for a variety of concerns to include the following:

    • Anxiety
    • Depression
    • Trauma
    • ADHD
    • Life Transitions
    • College Mental Health
    • Relationships
    • Parenting stressors
    • Grief
    • Military culture
  • Do you accept insurance?

We accept insurance and are in-network with several providers. If we’re out-of-network with your carrier, we can provide a superbill (an invoice) for reimbursement. We recommend checking out our Contact & Fees page for guidance on the reimbursement process. It’s important to note that using insurance benefits may limit your confidentiality. Insurance companies require a diagnosis for coverage, which will be added to your health record and could have future implications. We want to ensure you’re fully informed when making the decision on how to pay for therapy. We cannot guarantee coverage or reimbursement amounts, as your insurance benefits are an agreement between you and your carrier. It’s your responsibility to confirm coverage with your insurance provider before starting therapy. A credit card will be kept on file to cover any co-pays, fees, or sessions not covered by insurance.
