A Safe Space for Real Conversations

Real Support for the Struggles No One Sees

We know that feeling of being stuck or like you're falling behind, you’re definitely not alone in that. We really understand how overwhelming it can be. Therapy isn’t about figuring out what’s ‘wrong’ with you; it’s about understanding yourself in a way that actually makes sense and feels right for you.

We work with women, LGBTQIA+ individuals, military personnel, and college students, helping them navigate challenges like ADHD, trauma, self-esteem struggles, and big life transitions.

Our approach is real, down-to-earth, and completely judgment-free.

You don’t have to have everything figured out before you start, what matters is that you're open to taking that first step. If you’re feeling overwhelmed or like you’re not where you ‘should’ be, Real Talk Therapy is here to help you break out of that cycle. We’ll work together to find a path that truly fits who you are.

Founder of Real Talk Therapy

Hi, I'm Natali Gonzalez, LCSW

Licensed in NY and PA

Reaching out for therapy isn’t always easy, and I know how overwhelming it can feel. My goal, and all of us here at Real Talk Therapy, is to create a space where you feel comfortable, understood, and supported without judgment.

We specialize in ADHD, trauma, self-esteem, and relationship challenges, but more than that, we truly understand the process in digging deep, helping you move away from self-blame and embrace your unique way of thinking and feeling. We have an incredible team here and are excited to help you break through your personal barriers.

A little about me: I grew up in a military family and a Hispanic household where therapy wasn’t really talked about. For a long time, I felt like I had to figure things out on my own, carrying the weight of childhood trauma, ADHD, and self-doubt. When I was diagnosed with ADHD as an adult, it was a turning point. That experience gave me a whole new perspective and deepened my understanding of what real support looks like.

That’s why I do this work. No one should have to navigate these struggles alone. You deserve to be seen, heard, and understood. Together, we’ll find a way forward that truly works for you. I’m here to support you every step of the way.

Our Principles

The Values That Shape Real Talk Therapy

Authenticity

We believe in keeping it real. No fluff, no judgment, just a space where you can show up exactly as you are and feel truly understood.

Compassion

Your struggles are valid, and you don’t have to explain them away. We approach every conversation with empathy, acknowledging your experiences without minimizing or dismissing them.

Resilience

Healing isn’t about “pushing through” or pretending everything is fine. It’s about building the strength to understand yourself, set boundaries, and move forward in a way that works for you.

Inclusivity

Mental health support should be accessible to everyone. We are committed to providing affirming care for women, LGBTQ+ individuals, marginalized individuals, and those who have been overlooked or misunderstood in traditional spaces.

When Life Feels Overwhelming

Finding Relief Starts With Feeling Understood

It’s completely understandable to feel overwhelmed, whether that’s mentally, emotionally, or physically. You may have heard advice suggesting that you just need to try harder, stay more organized, or stop making excuses, and we can imagine how frustrating that must feel.

It's natural to question yourself and wonder why you can’t seem to find your footing. Please hear us when we say that there’s absolutely nothing wrong with you. You don’t need to force more willpower or reach for another self-help book.

What you truly deserve is a therapist who genuinely understands you, listens to you, and helps you navigate your feelings in a way that makes life feel lighter and more manageable.

If therapy has felt too formal, too structured, or just not relatable in the past, this is a wonderful opportunity to explore a different approach that might resonate more with you. Support is available in the way that feels right for you.
